Getting to Know the Author of Giving: God & the Church (His Bride) (Part 4)
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife-Revelation 21:9 (kjv)
The bride in the bible is referred to the body of Christ, the church. The Bible mentions the church as the bride because we are getting prepared to spend time with God for eternity in heaven. There won't be no separation between us when we step foot into heaven. That's why a lot of us experience spiritual warfare because the enemy is trying to take us out of God's will in order for us to get distracted from building a relationship with God genuinely and being able to hear His voice clearly. God knows what He does when He refers to us as His wife. We're in the fiance stage of life. But not in the married to God yet because nothing will be able to separate us as soon as the church goes to heaven.
There are people that have already passed away and God knows if they'll go to heaven or not. That decision is up to God. May one of our goals is to make it to heaven. To be faithful to God here on earth so that we will be able to glorify Him not just here, but in heaven for eternity. We don't know how heaven will be like in detail, but what I do know is that God is working behind the scenes for our good here on earth. He's working so that we can be able to change, do things differently, and actually be able to glorify Him with our lives. Even in the small tiny details some people may overlook in your life. To God? He sees every detail of our lives and He's so fixated in that and loves us for it.
God gave us the title of being His future bride because He wants us to be so prepared for what's coming after we depart from this earth. God is the Author of giving us life to live on this earth for His glory. He has the right to take away and keep here on earth and who are we to say who can leave or stay? God gives and God takes away. Now in regard to memories of those that passed away? They should never be worshipped or thought of still being physically present here on earth in a way where we can still communicate with their ghost: such knowledge is not for a Christian to believe in because it becomes a lifestyle choice.
Once someone is gone from this earth, respectfully...we can consider how they lived here on earth but once that chapter is closed, it's time to move on. Move on from the memories in order to continue the journey God had predestined for us. God has a funny way of teaching us things to come. He allowed the book of Revelation to be produced so He can teach us more of His creative side. Things no eye has seen are yet to occur here on earth. This is only for those that are able to really depict the things of the Spirit of God and whose spiritual senses are awakened.
No offense to anyone, but for those that know the things of the Spirit of God and pretend as if they don't or abandon the Spirit of God's revelations, there will be consequences eternally. God gave us so much wisdom in order to become who He wants us to become for His glory. The opposite of what God likes is evident and the only way to depict that is by measuring with the truth of the gospel that looks upon us every time we open the Word of God. May we remember the titles we have in God and the titles we have yet to obtain in God before we ever look upon an earthly title.
Not saying there's anything wrong with certain earthly titles for a Christian. But let us focus on what's eternal first and then we can focus on the secular things that won't lead us away from God but allow us an open door to bring His glory to the nations. God bless you! Praying you'd see yourself as God sees you! Bye!
